Being new to dogs, I thought this was slick until I realized it was a copy of the real thing: the Mars Coat King. Although I found nothing wrong with the Oster version, Mars offers more options and replacement blades. With the Coat Kings, you can get versions with 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm spacing between the blades, 35mm wide rakes, 70mm double-wide rakes, and even triple-wide rakes (good for horses). When the blades dull, you can easily order replacements. This Oster product has 4mm wide blade spacing and 18 blades. It is practically equivalent to a Mars Coat King #18, which is the same as a double-wide #10. With Mars, you can also get a 30 blade version with 1mm spacing, or a 26 blade version with 0.8mm spacing -- there are at least 14 Coat King rakes compared to Oster's 3. I rate the Oster low because the Coat King is better, offers more options, and has available replacement blades.
