I bought PetZoom for our long hair cat who sheds insane amounts of fur - think tumbleweeds of black fur, everywhere, every day. He should be bald! Sadly he only enjoys grooming for about 2 minutes, then things turn ugly. I thought it might be that the Furminator we normally use was hurting his skin, so the plastic tipped bristles on the PetZoom seemed worth a try. Also loved the concept of push button hair removal.
The brush does not bother him as much as the Furminator does, and the push button works even better than expected. Sadly though it just does not get much of the shedding fur off of him.
