This arm works great!!! Its very strong and thus can handle any size dog. The important thing to know is that it won't fit a table that is more than about 1" thick--which means its meant for a regular grooming table. Fortunately, I found a used one on Craigslist, after I unsuccessfully tried to fit the arm on several too-thick tables in the house. Here's an idea: Before I found the table, I was planning on making a table using a pair of 2X4 sawhorses (can adjust the height to match your height), with a cut-to-fit piece of 3/4" rug-covered plywood bolted to the sawhorses.Get more detail about Midwest Zinc Grooming Table Arm 36 inch.
