I purchased this blade based on the rave reviews for it on Amazon. Our border terrier sheds a lot and needs frequent grooming. We currently use a combination of the Furminator (for the undercoat) and a straight stripping blade. These work well but are time-intensive. I was looking forward to using this product to simplify our grooming needs. The product does not strip as effectively as a straight stripping blade and it is inferior to the Furminator in removing old undercoat. I believe that I have the proper blade for our dog's ooat based on the breed/blade finder that I found online for this product. The vendor is also difficult to reach. I tried to return the product but found no instructions on the invoice or website to do so. When I called the phone number listed on the invoice, it directed me to a corporate phone tree with no customer service option. I would not buy this product again and would not recommend the vendor.
