These are good blades. They fit right on the Oster A5 golden clipper I bought (securely). The one that came with it, I think it's a 10 shaves the dog down to the skin. This one leaves about a 1/2 inch coat. I use the 3F to cut him all over than I use the 10 on his belly and anywhere else I want him cut close.......his feet, snout, ears, etc. These blades stay cool to the touch. The clippers have to get very hot for these to even start getting warm. These blades worked fine on the two dogs I have to clip. The more expensive blades I was using never lasted more then one clipping anyway so I decided to use these for that one clipping. These blades are very precise and works extremely well. I purchased universal attachments prior to using the dedicated length blades. It is like night and day. The dedicated blade only requires a couple of runs to have a clean cut, but meanwhile the universal attachments need 4-5 runs to get a nice clean cut.
