I have a miniture Schnauzer who has very thick curly hair. The clippers would not cut at all with the guards on. When I took the guard off, I was able to clip some of his hair. The blade went totally dull half way through and I was forced to go out and buy a whole new set of clippers so that I could finish. Very disapointed (and annoyed). I know that Andis is a good brand of clippers, but this model is not up to par. Also, most of the Andis blades that are availiable will not fit this model.Get more detail about Andis 70235 Rotary Motor Pet Clipper Kit.
