I bought these clippers because I have 2 long hair persian cats. I shaved one of the kitties yesterday and it worked great!
I only used the first speed and it got the job done pretty fast. In areas that the hair was matted I had to use a different set of clippers, because it required more time and I did not wanted to hurt the cat.
